of the Visual Scheduling Widget - Standard Edition

In order to show you how many possibilities of visualization there are in the Standard Edition, we have selected 10 functions from it which are already sufficient for most requirements of a graphical planning board. The complete overview of the functions and the complete data model of the Standard Edition can be found under the description of the Architecture.

1. Different Views

  • Resource view, that displays the resources in the table and occupancies as bars.
  • Activity view, which displays the activities in the table and also as a bar.

2. Dynamic timescale

  • Time resolution arbitrarily adjustable
  • Labeling is dynamically adjusted
  • Region and language can be set
  • Interactions for spreading, moving, navigating available

 

3. Grouping of resources and activities

  • any number of levels possible, also suitable for hierarchies
  • Individual elements can be folded away interactively and in an application-controlled manner

4. Additional table right (e.g. for backlog)

  • Additional, also groupable elements ("entities"), e.g. can be used for worklists
  • Elements can be moved interactively into the time domain

 

5. Work calenders

  • Individually calculated by the application
  • Each resource/activity uses its own work calendar
  • Shared non-working time can be folded away

6. Capacity and allocation curves

  • Resources show their capacity and occupancy in curves calculated by the application
  • Overloads are displayed separately
  • Curves can be switched on interactively
  • Display of a numerical scale in the table section

 

7. Extensive graphical configuration

  • Colors (lines, areas, textes)
  • Labeling
  • Individually definable symbols

8. Diverse interactions

  • Interactive movement of bars horizontally and vertically, taking into account the working time calendars
  • Using callbacks, the application can influence the behavior or make resulting changes to the data.
  • In general, all interactions are designed to be touch-enabled.
